RSL was formed in 1996 and has designed micro controller systems for the automotive and power industry, including ECU's and generator controllers for power stations and automotive and marine applications. These have been used in systems ranging from 10kWs to 100MWs, with over 1000 being installed world wide.

RSL has carried out simulations/studies within both the power and automotive industry. RSL specialises in RMS and EMT dynamic/stability studies but performs simulations of other types. RSL's experience covers both conventional engines, turbines and generation as well technologies associated with renewable's and hybrid vehicles.

The company has developed both the embedded Real Time (RT) software in C and assembler and C++ PC software. Applications include ECU's (Electronic Control Units) for vehicles, graphical LCD dash displays and excitation control systems for generators. The company has provided software for other IT applications including, scripting and automation, business databases and software for the voice recordings industry.

We have completed projects, with responsibility for part of or full design/development cycle, design, prototyping, testing, OEM production, maintenance and enhancements.

RSL has provided training courses to companies in the power industry, including manufacturers, consultancies and generators.
